Barrier to Personal Development

Do you have a barrier to personal growth development?

Believe it or not we all have barriers that hold us back in life.

The biggest challenge is finding your barrier to personal growth development and learning how to overcome them.

How do we take an honest look at ourselves and find our flaws that we can improve on?

Our ego likes us to believe that we have no faults, and everything is great. It is scared of change and will do everything in its power to keep you comfortable. Do you agree?

The best way to find your barriers to personal development growth is to judge yourself as if your were judging one of your friends.

Any comment and sharing is welcome.

Hi,

Nice blog on personal developments. Do you think a normal person is able to develop their personal success? Or it takes a person some great failure at some point in their lives to seriously looking at themselves?

Cheers

Knowing your flaws is quite different from having sufficient reasons to change. Thought that most of us kind of know our flaws. Only thing is we may not be sufficiently motivated to want to change. Change requires effort and experimentation.

Personal development ... many a times it boils down to our daily habits even.

Deep inside each of us, we know at least one or two bad habits that we should get rid of or change for the better. Yet it's so difficult to do so ... like they say it,

- If we get rid of the H, we still have abit of the bad habit;

- If we go further to get rid of the A, we still have bit of the bad habit; and

- If we persists enough to get rid of the B, we still have it!

Well, I'm not trying to be pessimitive ... my point is personal development requires consistent effort and it's a life long process.

Just to add on with a quote from the bible: 1 Corinthians 8:2-3 says, "The man who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know. But the man who loves God is known by God."
